Visitor Information Links
The Margaret River Wine Region has it all: stunning beaches, fine dining, boutique shops and of course internationally renowned wineries. For the energetic person there are many caves to visit and cycle trails and bush walks to do, as well as horse riding, canoeing and whale watching. For the nature loving person, there are forests with wildflowers to photograph and twitching to be done as well.
Please ask Pam and Dirk and they will be happy to advise on any of these activities. We will provide you with a map and an itinerary suited to your requirements. We can also provide tour information and book tours for you.
If you would like to visit several wineries, a brewery, a chocolate factory and other attractions, we would be happy to book a tour for you. There are full day tours that include a scrumptious lunch or half day tours. You can then enjoy all that the region has to offer without having to worry about driving or the amounts that you are drinking. For packages that include accommodation and wine tours, see the Specials page.
Weather:
Margaret River has a "Mediterranean" climate with hot, dry summers and cool wet winters. Most of our rain falls from June, July and August in short showers then long periods of cool but sunny weather. Temperatures in summer reach the mid to high 30's but the evenings can get cool so still bring a jumper or jacket. In winter the daytime temperatures are in the mid to low 20's but can get colder during a storm and at night time it can get quite freezing at around 5 deg C.
